Back in May, I asked Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Therese Coffey about a Universal Basic Income. Her response was ‘No.’

I have now asked her if she will meet with me as the co-chair of the Cross Party Group on UBI to discuss the idea. Her response wasn’t much better.
